North-West Tasmanian Masters Squash Championships

INFORMATION

All games to be played at:

Devonport Recreation Centre, 34 Forbes Street, Devonport, 7310

The tournament will be run as graded dependent on skill levels. All players guaranteed three matches where possible.

The tournament will be held under the rules of the GAME, and subject to the Conditions and Regulations of the TOURNAMENT COMMITTEE.

Registration Closes Sunday 25th February.

ENTRY FEES:

$30 for TMSA members

$40 for all other participants

    TOURNAMENT RULES AND CONDITIONS

    1. All entries must be made on the prescribed form at https://squash.dreamhosters.com/ and the relevant fee lodged at the same time. Draw and 1st round matches by the evening of Thu 29th February at http://www.tas.squash.org.au/w/masters/tournaments

    2. The Masters Championships shall be open to players who are 35 years or over on or before 2nd March 2024.

    3. All matches shall be played at times and dates to be notified in the draws. The Tournament Committee reserves the right to disqualify any competitor who has not reported to the Control Desk at least 15 minutes prior to the advertised starting time of his/her event.

    4. On completing a match, each player will be responsible for either marking or refereeing the following match on the court on which they played.

    5. The Tournament Committee reserves the right to refuse the entry of any person and shall not be required to assign any reason for doing so and may at its discretion vary any of the conditions.

    6. No claims whatsoever will be recognised should any player receive injury whilst participating in the Championships.

    7. Tournament ball will be a Dunlop double dot although a single dot can be used if both players agree.

    8. Tournament scoring will be Point A Rally (PAR) 15 (or PAR 11 for top grades at the Tournament Director’s discretion).
